Bin Cleaning at Vizcaya

Vizcaya is a 477 acre Taylor Morrison master plan announced in February 2014 and built out by 2023, sitting north of University Boulevard with entrances off Westinghouse Road and A.W. Grimes Boulevard. It is divided into two sections: Traditions, which is all ages, and Heritage, which is age restricted to 55 and older. Both associations are managed by CCMC.

A lot of people who live here call it Georgetown, and they are not wrong about the part that matters most to families. A portion of Vizcaya is zoned to Georgetown ISD rather than Round Rock ISD, and Georgetown is the shorter drive for a good deal of daily life. Listing sites file the neighborhood under both cities for exactly that reason. For mail and city services, though, the address is Round Rock 78665, and that is the detail that decides who empties your carts. We serve the whole community regardless of which name you use for it.

Who Collects Your Bins in Vizcaya

Because the address falls in Round Rock, collection runs through Republic Services, which took over Central Texas Refuse in January 2024. That means weekly trash with recycling every other week on the same day, carts out before 7 a.m., and about three feet of clearance on each side so the truck arm can grab them. Residents get one free bulk pickup a year for up to five cubic yards. If you consider yourself a Georgetown resident, note that Georgetown's Texas Disposal Systems contract, its 95, 65 and 35 gallon cart choices and its paid bag tags are a different system that does not apply to your house.

A handful of Round Rock subdivisions sit inside municipal utility districts that contract their own hauler, so check your statement if your collection day does not match the city map. Whatever schedule you are on, we work around it.

Because trash and recycling share a day here, both carts come back to the house at the same time, and both of them pick up residue. Cleaning one and ignoring the other just moves the smell a few feet down the driveway.

How Our Service Works in Vizcaya

  • Leave empty bins at the curb after your regular trash pickup
  • We arrive and hot pressure wash at temperatures up to 250°F
  • EPA-registered disinfectant and odor-control treatment inside and out
  • Bins returned to your spot, you get a text notification
  • Charged after each completed visit

We clean the trash cart and the recycling cart, inside and out, including the lid and the rim where most of the odor actually lives. Everything is completed at your curb using our self-contained cleaning equipment. We manage wash water responsibly and follow applicable disposal requirements.

Why Vizcaya Homeowners Book With Us

The Heritage side is where this service earns its keep. Wheeling a 95 gallon cart to the curb is one thing. Scrubbing the inside of one is a job nobody over 55 should be doing on a Texas afternoon, and most people simply never do it. We handle it at the curb using our self-contained cleaning equipment, put the cart back exactly where it lives, and text you when it is finished.

On the Traditions side the driver is usually the summer. Texas heat can intensify odors and accelerate the breakdown of food residue left inside a cart. Two weeks of recycling residue in a closed cart off Westinghouse is something you can smell from the front door. $20 per completed visit for one bin or $25 for two bins, plus $5 for each additional bin, on an initial 12-month plan with no upfront payment. Questions From Vizcaya Residents

Is Vizcaya in Georgetown or Round Rock?

Both answers are partly right, which is why you see it filed under each. The mailing address and city limits are Round Rock 78665, and that is what decides who picks up your trash. But a portion of Vizcaya is zoned to Georgetown ISD rather than Round Rock ISD, and Georgetown is the closer town for a lot of daily errands, so plenty of residents consider themselves Georgetown. We serve every home in the community either way.

Which hauler collects bins in Vizcaya?

Republic Services, on the Round Rock schedule: weekly trash with recycling every other week on the same day. Georgetown's Texas Disposal Systems rules, cart size options and bag tags do not apply here, even if you think of yourself as a Georgetown resident.

Do you serve the Heritage 55 plus section?

Yes, and it is one of the sections where this service is most worth it. You never have to touch the cart.

Who manages the Vizcaya HOAs?

Both the Traditions and Heritage associations are managed by CCMC. You book bin cleaning directly with us as a homeowner, not through the HOA.
