The most common question we get from new customers is simple: how often do I actually need my bins cleaned? The answer depends on several factors specific to your household and neighborhood.
The Baseline: Quarterly Minimum
At the absolute minimum, every household in Central Texas should have their bins professionally cleaned quarterly four times per year. This prevents heavy residue buildup, keeps chronic odor down, and keeps the bin surfaces in good condition. Our quarterly plan is $40 per completed visit for one bin or $45 for two bins, plus $5 for each additional bin.
Most Households: Every 2 Months
For the average Pflugerville household that throws away meat packaging, produce scraps, and food waste regularly, every 2 months cleaning is the right frequency. This keeps residue and odor from reaching noticeable levels and reduces fly attraction. Our every 2 months plan is $30 per completed visit for one bin or $35 for two bins, plus $5 for each additional bin.
Families With Young Children or Pets: Monthly
If you have young children who play near the bin storage area, or dogs that investigate curbside smells, monthly cleaning is strongly recommended. Children and pets spend more time around bin storage areas than adults do. Our monthly plan is $20 per completed visit for one bin or $25 for two bins, plus $5 for each additional bin. These are our current launch prices; customers who enroll at a launch price keep that price for their initial 12-month term.
Summer Adjustment
Monthly, Every 2 Months and Quarterly are all available, and some households prefer a shorter interval during June, July and August when Texas heat accelerates decomposition. Pausing service or changing frequency during the initial 12-month term is treated as cancellation of the current plan. The Early Cancellation Adjustment applies only to discounts received on completed services. Future visits are not charged. Enrolling in a different frequency creates a new plan with a new initial 12-month term and requires new consent. See our Terms of Service for the full Cancellation Policy.
HOA Communities
If your community in Blackhawk, Sorento, Teravista, or another HOA neighborhood requires bins to be stored in the garage, monthly cleaning is practically a necessity. The odor from bins stored in an enclosed space in Texas summer becomes intolerable without regular cleaning.
