The most common question we get from new customers is simple: how often do I actually need my bins cleaned? The answer depends on several factors specific to your household and neighborhood.
At the absolute minimum, every household in Central Texas should have their bins professionally cleaned quarterly -- four times per year. This prevents severe bacterial buildup, eliminates chronic odor, and keeps the bin surfaces in good condition. Our quarterly plan is $30 per visit for up to 2 bins.
For the average Pflugerville household that throws away meat packaging, produce scraps, and food waste regularly, bi-monthly cleaning is the right frequency. This keeps bacteria and odor from reaching noticeable levels and prevents fly attraction. Our bi-monthly plan is $25 per visit.
If you have young children who play near the bin storage area, or dogs that investigate curbside smells, monthly cleaning is strongly recommended. Children and pets have more exposure risk than adults and are more vulnerable to bacterial contamination. Our monthly plan is $20 per visit -- both bins included.
Many households use quarterly or bi-monthly service in cooler months but switch to monthly during June, July, and August when Texas heat accelerates bacterial growth dramatically. We can adjust your plan frequency at any time with no penalty.
